The
Home Environment
Patron
House is a private detached house, with ample gardens
to enjoy, situated in Stoke Lane, Westbury-On-Trym,
Bristol. It is within walking distance of local
shops and amenities and a short bus ride from the
Downs and the centre of Bristol.

| Accommodation
Each
resident’s room is individual. We provide accommodation
for up to 11 elderly ladies and gentlemen of 65 years and
over. All have en-suite facilities varying from a washhand
basin and wc to a full en-suite bathroom. All rooms are
centrally heated and are equipped with TVs and emergency-call
systems. Residents may have telephone lines installed in
their rooms if they wish. Single room occupancy is usual,
however we do have a suite which comprises of two inter-connecting
rooms and a bathroom. Resident’s are encouraged to
bring their own possessions – furniture, pictures,
plants to personalise their private accommodation. |

There
is a large lounge on the ground floor, where a television
and video is available for residents use. A quiet
lounge is next to this and provides seating space
where residents can sit quietly and read or talk.
The dining room offers intimate seating on small tables
and features period built in cabinets. The first floor
can be reached via our chairlift. |

| The main
telephone is situated with a seating area in the quiet hallway,
local calls are free of charge, there is a recharge for long
distance calls. |

Food
All
meals are freshly prepared by our Cook. Vegetarian
meals and special dietary requirements are catered
for. Breakfast is usually served in Resident’s’
rooms. Lunch and tea are normally taken in the dining
room. Mid-morning coffee and afternoon tea are served
in the lounge. All these arrangements are flexible
and Resident’s’ guests are very welcome
at all meals by prior arrangement. |
