Adult Day Care services are a welcome
respite opportunity for individuals who work or who need
stretches of time away from their loved one to complete
tasks, socialise, or just refresh.
Day
Care can also be beneficial to the participant when he or
she is willing and able to be part of the adult day care
experience.
Our
Day Care programme offers care to non-residents
for all or part of a day so that they can join in the normal
life of the home with the other residents. There are opportunities
for social contact and stimulating activities for people
who are finding difficulty living at home. Day care also
enables carers to have a break from their caring.
Each
Day Care Programme is tailored individually and participants
can attend for several hours a day to a full day for as
many days a week as they need. They can benefit from the
facilities within the home and our staff can provide meals,
assistance with personal hygiene such as help with a bath.
Day Care clients can make use of the domiciliary services
such as hairdressing and chiropody within the home.
